我們將「水磨石」視為一種承載時間與情感的媒介，從其獨特的材質特性與大眾的兒時記憶出發，轉譯為插畫圖像及日用文具，設計出台灣水磨石日曆搭配蠟筆組，讓大家透過親手使用來感受水磨石歷史文化的深度底蘊。

We regard "terrazzo" as a medium that carries time and emotions. Starting from its unique material characteristics and the childhood memories of the public, we translated it into illustrations and daily stationery, and designed a Taiwan terrazzo calendar with crayon set, so that everyone can feel the profound cultural heritage of terrazzo through hands-on use.

在〈臺灣磨石蠟筆 Taiwan Terrazzo Crayon〉的創作過程中，我們探索如何將台灣傳統建築的磨石子元素，透過跨領域的設計思維賦予新生。為了以創新的方式轉譯這份記憶，我們大膽挑戰了實體蠟筆的製作。這項任務極度考驗對材質的熟悉度，需要耗費大量時間進行一次又一次的修正，過程中我們甚至一度萌生放棄的念頭。現在回想起來，非常慶幸當時咬牙堅持了下去，最終的成品讓我們深感驕傲，能以此作品獲獎更是無比喜悅。

這一路上，由衷感謝指導老師的陪伴與指引，總在關鍵時刻給予我們突破瓶頸的建議。團隊間的緊密合作與各司其職，更是這份作品得以順利誕生的最大助力，我們互相扶持，共同完成了這項挑戰。

此次能獲得釜山設計獎的創意獎，對我們而言是莫大的肯定。期盼這份設計能喚起大眾對生活周遭文化資產的共鳴，讓被遺忘的美好記憶，以嶄新的姿態持續傳承。

During the creation of Taiwan Terrazzo Crayon, we explored how to breathe new life into the terrazzo aesthetics of Taiwan's traditional architecture through an interdisciplinary design approach. To reinterpret these cherished cultural memories in an innovative way, we challenged ourselves to develop a physical crayon inspired by terrazzo. This process demanded an in-depth understanding of materials and countless rounds of experimentation and refinement. There were moments when we even considered giving up. Looking back, we are truly grateful that we persevered. Seeing the final result come to life fills us with great pride, and having this work recognized with an award is an even greater honor.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our advisors, Professor Shang Yao-Yuan and Professor Liu Jui-Fen, whose continuous guidance and encouragement helped us overcome challenges at every critical stage. We are also thankful for the close collaboration within our team. By supporting one another and contributing our individual strengths, we were able to bring this project to fruition.

Receiving the Creative Award at the International Busan Design Award (IBDA) is a tremendous honor and affirmation of our efforts. We hope this design will inspire people to rediscover the cultural heritage that surrounds them in everyday life, allowing these treasured memories to be preserved and passed on through a fresh and contemporary perspective.

Have you heard of beeswax wraps? Made from natural beeswax and cotton fabric, these eco-friendly wraps are an alternative to plastic cling film, helping you cover and preserve food and fresh produce with ease.Inspired by flowers that bees in Taiwan visit throughout the seasons to collect pollen and nectar, we created unique patterns that bring color and joy to your dining table!

非常榮幸也誠摯地感謝，《蜂存 BeeBox》能在本次獎項中獲得肯定！

《蜂存 BeeBox》以台灣蜜蜂採集的六種花種為發想，運用蜂蠟布作為媒介，將蜜蜂、花卉與永續概念融入產品設計，希望讓永續不只是理念，而是能融入日常生活的選擇。

從花種研究、材質實驗，到產品與包裝結構的設計，我們經歷了許多嘗試與修改，也在一次次的碰壁中，逐漸找到屬於《蜂存》的呈現方式。很感謝一路上給予我們建議與指導的老師，以及陪伴、支持我們的每一個人。這次的得獎不只是對作品的肯定，更是鼓勵我們繼續探索設計的力量。希望《蜂存 BeeBox》能讓更多人看見台灣自然環境的美好，也讓永續從生活中的每一個小小選擇開始。

We are honored and sincerely grateful that BeeBox has received this recognition!

Inspired by six types of flowers visited by bees in Taiwan, BeeBox uses beeswax wraps to integrate bees, flowers, and sustainability into product design, making sustainability a practical part of everyday life.

From researching flowers and experimenting with materials to developing the product and packaging, we went through many trials and revisions. We sincerely thank our teachers for their guidance and everyone who supported us along the way. This award encourages us to continue exploring the power of design. We hope BeeBox will inspire more people to appreciate Taiwan’s natural beauty and embrace sustainability through small, everyday choices.

We are honored to receive this recognition for Mirror, Flower, and Glass (鏡花璃語). Inspired by the fading beauty of patterned glass, this project transforms its history and distinctive patterns into a narrative-driven book design, using materials, light, and shadow to capture the passage of time and memory.

Day by Day is rooted in the idea of everyday repetition. Through continuous creation and steadfast progress, we allow design to evolve, expand, and renew itself in everyday life.

Design is more than repetition; it is a continuous process of deconstruction and reconstruction, balancing reflection with forward movement. Every accumulation brings growth, and every look back reconnects us with our original vision. As time flows, creativity continues to emerge and thrive in an endless cycle of renewal.

We are honored and delighted that Day by Day has received recognition from the C-IDEA Design Award. For us, this project is more than a design creation; as the key visual, it reflects our perspectives and emotions toward design, as well as a process of continuous experimentation, refinement, and growth.

From concept development to final execution, we went through numerous discussions and revisions, striving to balance functionality, aesthetics, and user experience while staying true to our original design vision.

We sincerely thank our advisor for the guidance and encouragement throughout the creative process. This award not only recognizes our efforts but also motivates us to keep improving and creating.
