在〈臺灣磨石蠟筆 Taiwan Terrazzo Crayon〉的創作過程中，我們嘗試將臺灣傳統建築中的磨石子元素，透過跨領域的設計思維進行轉譯與再詮釋，使其以新的形式延續其文化意涵。為了發展具創新性的表現方式，我們進一步挑戰實體蠟筆的製作，過程中對材料特性與成形技術進行多次測試與修正，也因此歷經反覆調整與重構，甚至一度面臨放棄的困境。最終能完成作品並獲得肯定，讓我們更加珍惜這段創作歷程。

此次能獲得英國最佳攝影大獎（Best Photography Awards UK）之肯定，對我們而言是極大的鼓舞。誠摯感謝指導老師於創作各階段的陪伴與引導，總在關鍵時刻提供具體建議，協助我們釐清概念並優化影像呈現。同時，也感謝團隊成員之間的密切合作與分工，使作品得以順利完成。期盼本作品能喚起大眾對生活周遭文化資產的關注，使被遺忘的日常記憶以新的形式延續與再現。

During the creation of Taiwan Terrazzo Crayon, we explored how to reinterpret and transform the terrazzo elements found in Taiwan’s traditional architecture through interdisciplinary design thinking, allowing their cultural significance to continue in a new form. To develop an innovative approach to expression, we challenged ourselves to create a physical crayon inspired by terrazzo. Throughout the process, we conducted numerous tests and refinements on material characteristics and forming techniques, undergoing repeated adjustments and reconstructions. There were even moments when we faced the challenge of wanting to give up. However, completing the work and receiving recognition has made us cherish this creative journey even more.

Receiving recognition from the Best Photography Awards UK is a tremendous encouragement for us. We sincerely appreciate our advisor’s guidance and support throughout every stage of the creative process. Their valuable suggestions at critical moments helped us clarify our concepts and enhance the visual presentation of our work. We would also like to thank our team members for their close collaboration and dedicated efforts, which made the completion of this project possible.

We hope this work can inspire greater public awareness of the cultural heritage embedded in everyday surroundings, allowing forgotten memories from daily life to continue and be rediscovered through a renewed form.

真的非常開心也很榮幸，能在Best Photography Awards中獲得肯定！《徹底岩茶》是我們嘗試讓岩茶品牌年輕化，且重新詮釋「禮輕情意重」的過程。一路走來，我們不只品嘗岩茶的風味，也嘗試運用不同材質去做各種研究與實踐，直到找到最適合的呈現方式。這段過程雖然具備許多挑戰，讓我們累積了很多珍貴的經驗與成長。

很感謝一直陪伴、支持我們的指導老師—商耀元老師以及劉瑞芬老師，指引我們得以努力邁向高光的舞台。這次的得獎，對我們來說不只是肯定，更是一種鼓勵，也讓我們對接下來的比賽更有信心，想繼續把這個作品做得更加完整。

We are truly delighted and deeply honored to have our work recognized at the Best Photography Awards UK.

Rock Rhyme Tea represents our attempt to rejuvenate the image of traditional rock tea while reinterpreting the concept of "A modest gift conveys profound sentiment." Throughout this journey, we not only explored the flavors and cultural essence of rock tea, but also experimented with various materials through research and hands-on practice. Through continuous exploration and refinement, we gradually discovered the most suitable way to present our concept.

Although the process was filled with challenges, it allowed us to accumulate valuable experiences and achieve significant growth. We sincerely appreciate our advisors, Professor Shang Yao-Yuan and Professor Liu Jui-Fen, for their continuous guidance and support. Their encouragement and insights have helped us move forward with confidence and pursue greater achievements.

Receiving this award is not only a recognition of our efforts but also a meaningful encouragement. It has strengthened our confidence for future competitions and inspired us to continue refining this project, making it more complete and impactful.
