感謝老師積極地告訴我比賽資訊，同時也認可我們的攝影能力，想到可以使用拋擲的方式來與菸蒂骯髒的混亂做一個搭配，每個人隨手一丟但是累積起來就如同照片般是一大坨。

I am grateful to my professor for actively sharing information about the competition and for recognizing our photography abilities. I came up with the idea of using a tossing motion to echo the dirty chaos of cigarette butts—something people casually throw away. Yet when accumulated, they form a large, disturbing mass, just like what is shown in the photograph.

感謝老師積極地告訴我比賽資訊，同時也認可我們的攝影能力，由下往上像是香菸高高在上，菸草未燃燒之前有獨特的氣味，但燃燒過後截然不同。黑白對比象徵我們的地板已經被它入侵，而天空依然保持著潔淨。

I am thankful to my professor for actively informing me about the competition and affirming our photographic skills. The upward perspective suggests cigarettes being placed on a pedestal, almost elevated. Before being lit, tobacco carries a distinctive scent, but after burning, it becomes something entirely different. The contrast between black and white symbolizes how our ground has already been invaded, while the sky remains clean and untouched.

感謝老師積極地告訴我比賽資訊，同時也認可我們的攝影能力，左右對稱的構圖讓畫面看起來和諧，而影子諷刺看似要撿拾菸蒂但卻只是一個動作，並沒有實際撿起來。

I appreciate my professor for proactively sharing the competition details and recognizing our abilities in photography. The symmetrical composition creates a sense of visual harmony, while the shadow ironically suggests the act of picking up cigarette butts—yet it remains only a gesture, without any real action being taken.
