Design concept:

The world is not lacking in beauty; rather, it lacks discovery." The central idea of "Taiwan Iron Sheet Houses" is to promote Taiwan's street impressions through this project. Taiwan's street scenes are intricate and diverse, with many buildings and landscapes constructed from corrugated iron. Utilizing the street view feature of Google Maps, we explored the textural relationship between "iron sheets" and streets from an overhead perspective in various cities across Taiwan.

Initially, we discovered a vast number of corrugated iron roofs forming visual contours resembling English letters due to their intersecting angles. "Taiwan Iron Sheet Houses" delves deeper into this pattern, using it as a foundation to incorporate all 26 letters. Moreover, themed around the "impression of corrugated iron," we created a series of cultural and creative products, including Taiwan urban landscape stamp ink sets, corrugated iron color swatch websites, and color swatch books. These designs showcase the unique imprint left by corrugated iron in our lives, not only reproducing the overlooked beauty of cities but also providing viewers with a fresh visual feast and inspiration.
