Symbiosis in the Badlands

Creators: Wu Dean-rong, Wang Qian-wen, Zhou Zhi-jie, Qiu Yu-wen, Yang Yu-ting
Supervising Teacher: Teacher Yang Chao-ming
Creative Concept:

"嶼" shares the same pronunciation as "與" in Chinese, meaning "together." It conveys the idea of 'evil,' portraying the harsh landscapes and the coexistence of emotional connections between people and the land.

Taiwan's unique geological background places it at the intersection of tectonic plates, resulting in diverse landscape resources. However, among the numerous terrains, the notoriety of "evil land" is relatively low.

Through data collection, we discovered that "evil land," despite its name, possesses numerous unique landscapes, rock formations, and rare flora and fauna. Therefore, we aimed to consolidate and create relevant visual designs to showcase the beauty of "evil land" and rekindle the connection between people and the land.

The Devine Matchmakers

Creators: Huang Yan-qing, Yeh Zi-yu, Liu Yu-shan, Liu Zhi-ling

Supervising Teacher: Teacher Zhu Xian-zhe

Creative Concept:

By using "games" as a medium, many weighty issues can be presented in an "entertaining" manner. With "Matchmaking Deity" as the theme, this project not only helps to understand Taiwan's local deities and temple culture but also allows for the exploration of the public's imagination about romance, including desires, youthfulness, and various forms of romantic aspirations that can resonate with the audience.

Moreover, by employing a third-person perspective to examine and control the pairing process, this project encourages contemplation of the current public attitudes towards love. It also emphasizes the importance of gender equality in this context.

A Line Of Affection

Creators: Huang Pin-qi, Wu Xuan-ru, Wu Shu-han, Chen Yi-jun, Huang Xin-ling

Supervising Teacher: Teacher Lin Jin-xiang

Creative Concept:

"5 stories, 5 different states of love." Through different storylines, this project elaborates on the different outcomes that choices bring in the context of love.

By guiding the audience, it allows them to reflect on their own situations while reading the stories of others, helping them gain a deeper understanding of themselves in the realm of emotions.
